So I've owned this model for pretty much 25 years now. I still have the original olive stock on one of them. These rifles have some decent power (700 fps?), are easy to maintain, easy to mod up. Fast reloads, very accurate. This is by far my favorite air rifle model. I own 4 of them. Want simple mod like different camo? Remove the stock and hydro dip it... one piece, just a few screws. Easy to add a sling like a 1" webbing and Uncle Mike's swivels. I have a Picatinny rail on mine, 3-9x 40mm scope. Laser, tac light... Love these things.
Pros? Hard fast 12 shots of .177 fast as you can pull that trigger. ? Accurate. ? Quick reloads with speed mags ? Easy to mod/customize ? Lightweight ? Fairly decent range for a CO2 carbine rifle in .177 ? inexpensive
Cons? Don't rapid fire too often, can freeze o-rings w/CO2 ? Don't use under 60?F, CO2 sucks in cold weather
Best Uses? plinking, target shooting ? pest eradication

Bought it ~ 8 years ago for target practice only. Many years later I unfortunately experienced varmints infestation. They climbed my backyard high wooden fenced destroyed my garden, apple trees. They began chewing on the house siding making holes getting into the attic up there making noises at night. I fixed things gave up on gardening I just didn't want to harm them. Wild life management wanted a fortune to trap, catch, relocate, euthanize and monthly rent fee for the trap cage. It cost you when you want someone else to do your dirty work. I was not someone who stalked and hunted needless to say I am now and I've gotten good at it. This gun is awesome! It is accurate! It is just right at 650 fps. The gunshot sound it quite. It doesn't offend my neighbors it respects their rights. So now I do my own wildlife management. I love animals so it was hard to finally address this issue after trying everything else. Thanks Crossman!
ProsFor the money automatic, accurate, light and easy to use.
ConsThere is not a way to know when the C02 Cartridge is spent or used up.

Value for Money
May 2, 2019
I purchased this air rifle as a "garden tool" to deal with pests. Most shots taken with it will be at fairly short range. Thus, the relatively low pellet velocity of a CO2 powered rifle is quite sufficient. Also, the semi-auto capability is desirable for follow on shots, something not possible with pump or break-barrel designs. For this purpose this rifle is quite sufficient. Although I haven't sand-bagged it yet to determine its accuracy, some off hand shooting indicates that it is accurate enough for my use. The stock was a pleasant surprise, very rigid, better than I expected. The sights are also quite decent. My one complaint: a very heavy and long stroking trigger. The trigger travel is a full centimeter and the trigger weight is 8 pounds. It is like a double action pistol trigger. That will take some getting used to and make accurate shooting difficult (for me, anyway). Still, for its price and purpose, I am satisfied.
ProsGood stock, good iron sights, semi-auto, immediately and silently ready to use (no pumping or break action), good price.
ConsVery heavy and long cycling trigger. It is easy for the heavy trigger pull to affect your aim. Hopefully, practice will overcome this problem.
Best UsesPest control, plinking.

Bought this a year ago. The semi auto function is cool but crosman could have worked a little harder on accuracy. I shot 10, five shot groups with crosman premium, gamo red fire, and gamo armour pellets, and at 20 yds I could not get better than 4 inch groupings so not a great hunting or match gun. Also being a entry level co2 gun it is very loud. if you just want a fun airgun for you or your kid to plink around with it's great, but if you were going to buy it for hunting stay away. if you want a decently priced reliable, accurate airgun, than go with a daisy 880, crosman shockwave, or any of the lower priced gamo's.
ProsSemi auto is fun to plink around with
ConsNot very accurate, loud, you will go through a lot of co2

1077 C02 .177 cal. Rifle
August 10, 2017
I ordered the 1077 rifle after reading many reviews, which all were positive. I once owned a Ruger 10-22 rifle and since this air gun was manufactured in the style of the 10-22 I knew I would like the feel and looks of the gun. I ordered the refurbished Crosman 1077 and not sorry I did. You can't tell that it's not a new one. I like everything about my 1077. I will be adding a scope for it in the future. Airgun Depot was great to deal with. My order was handled and arrived on time. I will continue to do business with Airgun Depot.
June 21, 2017
Out of the box my girlfriend loved it. It was light and easy to handle and very accurate to shoot. I brought extra magazines for it and this worked out well. Being refurbished didn't make much difference. It shot like it was brand new. We both love shooting it and highly recommend these air rifles to anyone. Thank you Airgun Depot.
ProsLike new condition. Shot flawlessly without incident.

GREAT COMPANY and FAST SHIPPING
June 20, 2017
I ordered this air rifle from the Depot because it was not available locally (Illinois). It replaced a previous same rifle. The cost factor on the net from the Depot was less than other companies online. My order was received sooner than stated when I ordered. Matter of fact several days earlier than expected. This makes me a very satisfied customer. I will order from the Depot again if I need replacement or other air gun related items
ProsGreat company and speedy service (shipping) as well as price.

Reasonably accurate, and fun to plink with.
Small cost for a big blast!
April 28, 2017
Sounds goofy I know, but we bought this gun because we won a box lot of all sorts of air gun parts which included a speed loader and about 2 dozen magazines for this gun. Low price, so low expectations. This gun quickly became one of my 13 year old son's favorites (and we have a huge collection of new and vintage air guns). Sure the automatics we have are a real cool to shoot, but none configured for bulk, so about 2 mags per CO2, and then you need more. With multiple mags and the speed loader, my son fills his pockets with pre-filled mags and a couple CO2 cylinders and has a blast. Also, I don't worry about him leaving it outside or breaking it, as it wasn't a huge investment. Sure, maybe we have some of the Cadillacs of air guns in our garage, but taking out the old Jeep Wrangler from our collection for a spin is a lot of shooting fun.
ProsAll good for the price.
ConsNone for the price!
Refurb like new
April 4, 2017
I purchased 2 of these 1077 refurbs when I could not wait any longer for the wildfire. The small refurbished sticker was the only indication these were not new. Both shoot well on the first two clips and then the small CO2 cartridge effect starts to appear. I plan to convert them to bulk fill as the utube vids show. I did this with a previous new 1077 and the results were great. That gun developed an internal leak when I tried 1200 psi air. Not worth fixing when the price of these is so good.
ProsFun to shoot Accurate to 25 yards Consistent accuracy with bulk fill
ConsNot a con but but buy lots of pellets and clips so the fun is not interrupted. Stop only when the finger hurts from the trigger pull. You will have a stronger finger tomorrow!

The refurbished Crosman 1077 ... .177 cal. CO2 Rifle
March 27, 2017
I like it ! It's light weight and accurate. Like new for a refurbished rifle. Some small marring on the scope rails.
ProsIt's Accurate. I've only tested one pellet, but with a 4X scope, I'm getting 3/4" groups at 30 feet. I'm sure that will improve after I've found the pellet it likes.
ConsI have found, if a pellet has to be forced into the magazine...It will not shoot out. Pellets should slide easily into the holes in the magazine.

Can't go wrong
February 21, 2017
I recently bought a refurbished model of the 1077 to go with my new version. You cannot tell them apart. The only thing I noticed was that the refurbished one is about 1-1/2 years old. I don't know what had to be refurbished because you can't tell that the gun has ever been worked on. None of the screws look like they have ever had a screwdriver touch them. Nothing rattles or appears to be loose, no leaks, nothing, the gun looks brand new and shoots like it. Another great deal. Don't be afraid to get a refurbished gun from AGD they seem to know what they are doing. Kudos to AGD!
ProsGreat deal, great company.

ProsLotsa shots, light weight for the little guys, no pumping.
1077 Could Be New
February 1, 2017
The first refurbished 1077 I received from airgun depot had a small co2 leak, unfortunately. It still threw pellets fairly straight, but I had to send it back. Fortunately, their customer service department is exceptional and they shipped me another. The first one had a refurbished sticker on the bottom of it - this one does not. I'm finding that this co2 gun is a different animal, especially in the cold, than the pneumatic guns I had already been using. It's still a blast - no wasted time pumping, the ability to throw repeated, accurate shots (as long as you adjust for the effects of cold on your trajectory...), and all of this at a steal of a price. I've slapped a 2-7 scope on it and it still feels like it's under 3 lb. You could shoot this standing all day without getting particularly tired. Great shooting practice - and it throws that first pellet plenty fast, as well. I suspect in warmer temperatures it'll dissipate the cold better and give more and more powerful repeated shots.
ProsAccurate, a bargain, lightweight, repeating .177 pellet rifle. Buy some extra speedloaders, they are cheap and you'll be wanting them.
ConsYou can buy 3 extra box magazines, or you could just buy another refurbished gun with mag for the same price. The speedloaders may be reasonable, but the box magazines are relatively dear by comparison. Gun has plenty of plastic furniture - if you don't like this, it's a negative. All the most important bits are metal, and all the plastic makes for unreal weight savings. I see it as a plus, myself.
Great CO2 rifle for the money.
February 1, 2017
Rifle arrived and looked great except there was no rear sight - the sight had snapped off and there was no elevator. However, one e-mail to Airgun Depot and they immediately responded and had Crosman send me the parts at no charge, which arrived within three days. I already had this model and the seals wouldn't hold pressure after several years, so I had mags and a scope for this. Without taking it apart, I would not be able to know it was not new. Great value.
ProsGood for a CO2 powered rifle. Refurbished is a great value.
ConsArrived with a missing/broken rear sight - but Airgun Depot Customer Service resolved immediately.
January 26, 2017
I got it Refurbished from Air.Gun.Depot and !!!Wow!!! it shoots like if it was brand new out of the box and right at 39.99 it is not my first Crosman 1077 but it is my second one my wife but me the first one From A.G.D and i loved it went through He** i knew it could take a beating and still keep on going my barell bent and i thought it was broken but i un bent it put some co2 and it shot like a champ accuracy was way off but it was for target practice plinking once you knew were the shot landed and just adjust from there even if it was bent it was awsome i had to get another.

Great youth rifle
January 2, 2017
Right out of the box this light weight rifle shoot very well. With just small adjustments of the rear sites I had it shooting in the red circle at 30 yards. I since have added a 4x32 scope to it and it got better results. But either way it is a great rifle to teach young people how to shot and is fun for me as well. The CO2 lasted an average of 80 shots with crosman pointed pellets. I had to unjum a pellet because I pushed the gas a bit too far. But that was a breeze with the barrel able to slide forward a bit and pushing the jammed pellet out.
ProsI have enjoyed everything about this rifle. It is light, accurate, and easy on the wallet. If you need a gun to teach young people with, this is it!!!
ConsI haven't found one thing about this rifle I don't like.

It's not easy to find a semi auto rifle that shoots this well , under 800$, i don't think many people will be disappointed with this 60$ gun. Look out chipmunks.
December 11, 2016
This is a very fun gun to shoot....it is fairly accurate but the first few shots on a new CO2 cartridge are lower powered than the rest....like it takes a couple shots to build pressure or something. But that's not really a big deal since all you'll be hunting with it are tin cans and targets. I was hoping for a little more power...you might have enough to humanely take a sparrow, but anything larger is definitely off the table as, even inside 10 yards the pellets get very little penetration. But let's be honest, the real reason to buy this gun is that it is a blast to shoot. I can empty a 12 shot mag in right around 2 seconds....literally as fast as you can pull the trigger! And the price point was great ($35 for a refurbished gun). They are a breeze to load you can run through 4 mags (almost 50 shots before you notice a drop in "power". Great gun for the money....just wish it had a couple hundred more fps in it:)
December 10, 2016
Strong right out of the box. My target is roughly 40 feet out and it will hold a 3 inch group until C02 cartridge weakens. I get roughly 70 shots to a cartridge.
ProsRapid fire and with extra mags a blast
ConsLong trigger travel takes time to get used to.

My Crosman 1077 had a problem piercing the co2 cart, so I returned it to Airgun Depot without any problems. I do have another Crosman 1077 which I love. The 5 star rating is based on what the 1077 can do when working correctly.

I received the rifle opened the box took it out heard something loose rattling around did not think anything of it, I loaded the rifle shot six times and the trigger jammed shook the rifle witch freed the trigger so I took it apart and found three pieces of plastic and two of metal did not see where they went put the rifle back together and it works great so far shot over five hundred rounds.
ConsLacks quality control on rebuilds.

VERY WELL MADE, NO LOSE PARTS OR SCREWS, SIGHTS RIGHT ON OUT OF THE BOX AT 10M. MAGAZINE LOCKS IN TIGHT. PELLETS LOAD EASY, HAVE HAD NO JAMS IN 400 PELLETS. LIKE THE WAY THE BARREL CAN BE MOVED FORWARD BY PRESSING THE TABS ON THE RECEIVER DOWN AND FORWARD IN CASE OF JAMMED PELLETS. WORKS AS A GREAT TRAINING TOOL FOR NEW SHOOTERS BEFORE HANDING THEM A REAL FIREARM. WITH A 4X SCOPE OR A RED DOT CAPABLE OF .75 TO 1" GROUPS AT 10M. HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!!!!!!
ProsEXCELLENT TRAINING AID. BARREL BEING ABLE TO MOVE FOWARD FOR JAMS. DETACHABLE MAG AND CHEAP ROTARY DISC TO KEEP SHOOTER SHOOTING. EXCELLENT ACCURACY. UNDER $70.
ConsWOULD BE BETTER IF THEY WOULD MOLD A WEAVER/PICATINNY RAIL ON RECEIVER VS THE DOVETAIL, THIS WOULD SAVE THE CONSUMER FROM BUYING AN ADAPTER FROM DOVETAIL TO WEAVER/ PICATINNY.
Very good airgun
November 26, 2016
This was my first purchase from Airgun Depot and I am very satified. Ordered on a Sat. and received on Fri. The refurb.was only observed by the sticker stating so and the initials GW. Good job GW. I went through 3 co2 cyls. sighting in a scope and got 65 good shots per cyl. Very accurate at 15 yrds. Best pellet is the Crosman Destroyer EX. Best group of 5 shots were all in the 10 ring of a Gamo shot card. I have absolutly no complaints. Thanks, Airgun Depot. Tom-s.

October 15, 2016
Wasn't sure what to expect from a refurbished gun, but it looked like new and fired well. I kept count with the first CO2 cartridge and got about 50 or 51 full power shots. Then I pulled out the O-rings and springs I'd already bought for the purpose and followed the procedure I saw in a Youtube vid on "modifying" the detent. It's not really a modification - more like correcting a (deliberate?) factory oversight. I installed an O-ring on the detent and changed the spring for a stronger one so the detent could still function properly with the added O-ring. The result was exactly what the maker of the vid said he experienced. My full power shot count went from about 50 or 51 to 85 or 86. Seven clips instead of four and still on one CO2 powerlet. I am waiting for the barrel stabilizer I ordered to come in now. About a three minute job will tighten up my shot groups. I decided to do my first mods on a refurbished gun for obvious reasons. They won't be the last I do on my collection. This little gun is a blast to shoot. Just plain fun. Even my wife enjoys shooting it. Can't go wrong with this price. I highly recommend the detent mod even if you never do another mod. Definitely worth it.
ProsEasy to shoot even with open sights. Not too powerful to use for backyard plinking with a few precautions. Stay safe, please. I had read other reviews about the trigger pull being a bear, but not so. Quite easy and a much nicer trigger action than I've grown accustomed to in other Crosman guns.
ConsIf you are looking for a powerhouse of a gun, look elsewhere. This is a fun shooter and not a big bore HPA monster. I seriously doubt you could do many power mods on it without dangerously stressing the safety limits. It's great for fun and that's it.
By Lon L.
Very nice Plinker
October 7, 2016
I got this as a "refurbished" gun from AirGun Depot and it was just like a new gun in every way. It has performed flawlessly. Keep in mind this is "plinker" or non-serious target gun. The sights are very course so it's not a tack-driver and at 595 fps (measured with chrono, average first 5 shots) with 5.8 ft lbs of energy at the muzzle it would be great for rats and birds, but don't try to take rabbits or squirrels with it unless you are within 30 feet and can get a sure head-shot. It is the least powerful pellet gun I own with two of my .22 pellet pistols developing more energy. But it's not meant for hunting. You'll get exactly 4 magazines (48 rounds) before the CO2 cartridge is almost totally depleted, which also makes it the most CO2 hungry gun I own (some of my other guns get up to 70 shots). But it's a lot of fun to have a semi-auto pellet pistol, just like a real gun. Be sure to buy the 3-pack of extra magazines, that way you'll have four total and that's the capacity of each CO2 cartridge.
Proslightweight, rapid fire
Consuses a lot of CO2 per shot, not very powerful for a rifle
Great value, poor rail

Good shooter, Good Value.
September 12, 2016
For those wanting a pellet plinker in an urban environment, but do not to spend a lot of money, this rifle may be the one for you. It is simple, light, and effective out to 30 yards and maybe a little more. I use it for poking holes in beer cans. It is not too pellet picky and the cost of operation is low.
ProsInexpensive, light, easy to operate, and accurate.
ConsThis rifle has one of the worse triggers of all the airguns I have ever shot. Perhaps this is the price you pay for a simplistic pellet gun at this price point.

A bang for the bucks !!
August 26, 2016
this is a neat little rifle, mine is a refurbished it looks brand new. In fact all my guns are refurbs, ok lets get down to the nitty gritty, 1st it does not shoot at 735fps with alloy pellets, i would say the mid 500fps which is still got some zip on it. it will bury the pellets deep enough on a solid core door that you can't see them, i hope my landlord doesn't see them either. 2nd loading the co-2 is very easy just make sure you get it snug before you give it the final turn or you will lose a bit of co-2. 3rd loading the clips is simple just make sure you put them in the way, it took me a few times and that's all you should need too. 4th when you put the clip in the magazine make sure you slide the switch on the mag to lock the clip in, i didn't and i thought i had recieved a malfunctioning rifle but after cussing a bit i noticed the switch and all went well. 5th which should be 1st is the slide on the top of the rifle, slide it back before loading the clip than slide it towards the magazine to lock in and line up the clip.. i used 3 powerlets and shot a tin of 150 pellets, you will get 3 clips shot before you notice the power start to fade. i buy the 50 count of crosman co-2s powerlets, the price is a good deals and will last a long time. i've been shooting all summer and still have 20 - 25 powerlets left. this gun is accurate to around 20yds maybe a bit more. a good scope would do this rifle justice. i wait a few seconds between each shot but you can fire as fast as you want but i would advise against it.. the rifle is small so you young kids will like it, hell i like it. so get a couple of bags of army men and sit them up and let the games begin. happy shooting guys!!!!!!!!! buy the 3 pack of clips !!
Prosgood price, accurate, got a bit of power, light weight so you can carry it all day, just a nice all around rifle !!!
Consnone really, i mean you could nitpick it to death but it's a great 1st rifle for young and old

Refurbished Crosman 1077..177 cal
July 4, 2016
I had been looking for a used vigalante or something but nobody would return my Emails. Then I saw the ad on Airgundepot for the Crosman 1077 for a refurb and I jumped on it. Some folks don't like refurb products but I have always had great luck with them. I believe the manufacturer looks over someting like that extra well so its in great shape and you can't beat the price! I have had a great time with it so far and am very pleased with my purchase from Airgundepot.
ProsI like the semi auto. I can plink as fast as I want. I have also put a cheap scope on my 1077 and I am very pleased with the accuracy.
ConsI wish they would have offered a simulated wood stock.Other than that ,I'm good with it.

This Is A Great Gun
April 11, 2016
First off AGD is a wonderful Company to deal with........they really take good care of you. I've been an airgun snob for 40+ years. Preferred German and English and turned up my nose at American made guns. Well, I have learned that I've been missing out on a lot of fun with Crosmans and Daisys. It started with a Crosman Vigilante refurb. which worked very well and progressed to a 1077 which has taken it's place by the back door for squirrel duty. A quick follow up shot is a great blessing (not for squirrels). The only downside is no last shot indicator. A lot of tree rats have given me the equivelent of the finger while I was shooting blanks at them. All in all, money well spent.
ProsInexpensive to buy and inexpensive to run. Easy to operate Follow up shots
ConsNo way to know if you're out of ammo

This is my third refurb from AD, and it does NOT disappoint! Looks new, shoots nicely, reasonable for what it is. A very nice plinking rifle, that is a lot of fun!. Decent accuracy once scoped (any scope will do but avoid high power scopes as the range of this rifle is limited). Not too loud so can easily be used in a basement or backyard without disturbing neighbors.
ProsGood accuracy for inexpensive repeater!
ConsA little too light!

Prosi'm only referencing the fact that this gun is refurbished exactly as described in description for both the referb aspects and for the factory specs like new no sign of where operates very well threw on a scope and started shooting 50+ yards with about a 1 inch grouping***
Consnone pertaining to the fact that it was refurbished. every air gun will have it's strengths and weaknesses. this air rifle has absolutely nothing wrong with it compared to a factory new Crosman 1077 any other issues would be preference and opinion.
Excellent fun for target practice
September 20, 2015
While others say that it is good for hunting I would never use it for that. It doesn't have enough power and does not have enough accuracy to hit a head shot on small game. While yes you could kill animals with it you can also kill them by throwing rocks at them😂. If you want this for target practice it is a great plinker and has decent accuracy.
ConsCo2 has to be refilled but you still get a good amount of shots out of one cartridge

August 20, 2015
This is a nice light weight gun with superb accuracy.
ProsLight, accurate, good sights for open sights
ConsBlows through the Co2 quicker than water through a sieve
Fun little rifle
July 21, 2015
Lightweight, double-action rifle. It used to waste a lot of CO2 canisters by not sealing properly, but a dab of Pellgun oil on the tip of each one seems to fix that problem. I would suggest picking up extra speed loaders and magazine holders, as you will spend a lot of time reloading instead of actually shooting, without them. Realistically, you will get about three magazines worth of shots out of each CO2 canister. It will continue to fire after that, but you'll be able to throw the pellets yourself harder than the gun will fire them. All in all it's a fun, low-powered, backyard plinker. A good buy.

Teaching Grand Daughter to Shoot
June 21, 2015
I have several high power pellet rifles and felt they were to big to start her out on. I took a chance on this on and it is turning out to be the right choice. It is light weight and has NO KICK back from a high power spring. I installed a Leapers 3x9x32 AO Scope with quick release rings (all I use) and also added a muzzle break to protect the barrels crown. I will be adding a set of sling hooks and a sling as well as a Weaver Rail under the front stock so she can use a Bi- Pod if she wants to, instead of a sand bag bench rest. Using the Quick release scope rings will also let me teach her the "lost art of using open sights". After she masters this air rifle I will work her up to one of my more powerful Springers and even my .22 PCP Marauder. When she has mastered these, then and only then will I take her into live fire ammo shooting. So far she is doing preaty well and listens quit well and follows my instructions to the letter. This is some thing she has asked to learn to do, so I would rather teach her the right way with all the pro's and con's with the world the way it is today. Semper Fi.
ProsGreat light weight rifle, very well made. I p/u the one with the wooden stock.
ConsOnly issue I have is there is a lot of plastic parts, but that is the way low priced air guns are made these days.

This rifle first sold in 1994. I have the olive green stock. It has come with various stocks from black with the black barrel, black with chrome barrel, walnut stock, and mine, the olive stock and black barrel. I mounted mine with a tactical light (600 lumen) and made a barrel shroud for it (looks like a silencer) and extended mags that look like the 30 round 5.56mm for an M4/M16. I've used this rifle for years. I suggest you get a half decent scope and high rise rings so you can see under the scope and still use the "iron sights". After carefully zeroing mine, I got nice tight shot groups (12 shots inside a quarter at 30m) and used it to hunt skunks, possum, rabbit, raccoon, you name it. It's light weight, I added Uncle Mike's swivels to mine to install a 1" sling. Great rifle for late spring, summer and early autumn. Sucks in the cold, CO2 will do that. (Get a break barrel for winter like the Benjamin Varmint .22 or the Crosman 2100 pump action). I have blown o-rings from doing what they used to advertise, "shoots as fast as you can pull the trigger"... Um no, do not do that. CO2 will freeze up the o-rings and you keep shooting and they will crack like ice. Let at least 3 seconds between shots, 5-10 is even better if you want long life from yours. I keep spare o-rings because I have an itchy trigger finger when I know I have a full clip and CO2... Good price, killer accuracy, great weight, you will enjoy this rifle... I have for better than 20 years and we just bought another last week.
ProsSemi-automatic CO2 lasts at least 4 mags before needing replacement in 70°F weather. Accurate Decent range Fast reloads (buy extra magazine and rotary clips) 11mm dovetail supports mounting a scope Price is reasonable Light weight Easy to repair, simple internals (like most air rifles) I like the upgraded thumb screw for the CO2 Carbine size, not overly long, not too short. 2 screws and you can remove stock from internals and barrel and carry in backpack.
ConsCO2: While being listed as a Pro (no pumping) it's also something you need to keep in mind: do not shoot this "as fast as you can pull the trigger" or you may damage the o-rings internally due to freezing them. Seriously, I speak from experience.

Just plain fun
May 6, 2015
At first I was disappointed. The velocity ranged from 500fps to 650fps but after some 200 shots or so it settled to 575fps +/- 10fps and at 50ft I am chasing the same hole most of the time. The real fun is using the extra 3 mags and housings so all I have to do is pull the mag housing and pop another. Its light and very easy to use. To dress it up I noticed many of the Rugar 1022 options fit this rifle like the muzzle break.
ProsVery light and easy and quick to aim. 4 Gags of fun for every CO2 cartridge.
ConsShould have come with sling hardware or option. But I used the Rugar 1022 kit and it works well.
Great indoor plinker
March 19, 2015
The sights were crooked right out of the box. A quick adjustment and it was spitting lead in quarter size groups. Very accurate and a lot of fun to shoot.
ProsVery accurate. MADE IN USA
ConsPlastic stock gives it a cheap feel.
March 2, 2015
Shoots great out of the box.But I put a gamo 4/32 scope and gamo sling on mine. Get over 70 shoots on 1 co2 But after 50 shoots lots of drop. It would cost $8.00 to ge t thatt many shoots with 22 Make sure to get extra clips I use gamo match pellets and crosman pellgun oil in mine. Shoots as fast as you can pull the trigger. No problem after 2 cans of pellets.
Best air rifle I ever owned (I only have one)
January 10, 2015
This gun is amazing high fps, low price, 12 round mag I love it. I get about 3 to4 mags out of a co2 but I'm sure there's bet co2 out there...........right??
Pros12 round mag high fps (620)
ConsThe mag is hard to get out I got some cuts because of this.

Great Little Target Plinker!
January 17, 2014
After I got this Crosman 1077 in I setup some targets around the yard from 25' to 150' away and I was shocked by how well it shot over and over, taking down the target time and time again! The Wife and kids just love it!
Proseasy to use, light weight for the kids and wife, they love that aspect of this rifle, fast reloading with extra clips so they are a must. just all around fun here at the house. no going to the gun range cheap to use.
Consplastic stock, I would like the feel of the old wooden stock back.

1077 the best semi-auto for the money
November 27, 2013
I wanted this pellet gun to dispatch ground squirrels near my house. There are some who say this gun is not powerful enough for anything larger than a mouse, B.S. !!!! At close range of 20-30 feet it will blow thru 1/8 plywood, which is plenty of power to knock off any squirrel. At 625 fps you can do serious damage on squirrel size critters or smaller. However I would not shoot them on the back end of the Co2 range, but the first 25 shots, absolutely ! I put a taco red dot sight on mine and can easily drill fifty cent size targets out to 20 yards. You should definitely buy extra clips because this gun is not fast to load, putting pellets into the clip with big fat fingers is a bit tricky, so you may as well do three or four at once. Bottom line, for 59$ you can't go wrong!
ProsFast shooting, great price
ConsA little slug is to load
October 6, 2013
Gun is adequate for general shooting, but not for serious shooting and rodent control. Had trouble with C02 cartriges and seal from factory rifle, So I modified mine to shoot with paintball C02. getting near 1000 FPS with basic .177 lead pellets after Mods. Accuracy improved also after mounting a cheap 4x Scope.
Pros12 Round Ammo Capacity, Cost
Cons12 Gram Cartrige and Seal inadequate.
August 28, 2013
I've put about 500 rounds through mine, no issues at all. My only complaint is that it's a pain to take off the cap to the CO2 tube. I've had to use a screwdriver.
July 4, 2013
I've had a couple of issues with the drop-out cartridge/magazine (which holds the little circular 12-shot magazines). I'll get a bindup of the action and I'll have to fool with the two buttons on either side of the rail (which become quite difficult to move) to get the thing to disengage the firing mechanism, "decock" and then allow the plastic magazine assembly to come out. Since I'm new to this, I might be doing something wrong, but I don't believe so; following directions specifically. Any ideas?
ProsVery light; nice to have 12 shots per clip.
ConsShooting mechanism seems a bit fussy. Constantly having to stop and remove and reseat the magazine.
By Chuck S.
March 26, 2013
I've owned 3 1077's (I have a bit of a varmint problem). The performance and speed is remarkable for an air rifle. The only problem I've EVER experienced is a stuck air cartridge (probably my own fault for leaving the cartridge active in the rifle for a long period). BUT, the solution is simple. Remove the plastic housing by unscrewing THREE screws on the bottom of the plastic rifle housing. The entire metal mechanism then just POPS out. The end of the cartridge is clearly visible through an access hole. A simple tap with a screwdriver and it's lose and you are three screws away from "good as new." All in all, a really good air rifle with great accuracy. The 625 fps is good enough for target practice and for small critters.
ProsEase of use and dependability.
ConsAccuracy adjustments could be easier.
March 26, 2013
Great rifle. Accuracy is awesome. Good speed and Co2 count.
ProsLove the semi
Consclip holder and extra clips needed
Great kids gun
March 13, 2013
It shoots fairly accurately. The clip is a little slow to load with those small .177 pellets.
ProsGreat price 60 round per Co2.

ConsBreaks Hard to get Co2 in.

Crosman Model 1077 Air Rifle
November 26, 2012
I bought one of these refurbished. The thing wastes a lot of Co2. The trigger pull is very sloppy. The rear sight is hard to adjust. It will kill pests. Pretty accurate and I love the 12 shot magazine. You must be quick when piercing a cartridge. Do not over tighten and use a drop of that Crosman lube crap you can't find anywhere but on line. The people at WalMart never heard of it.
ProsThe price, cheap, and 12 shot magazine. Accurate for the job it was intended for.
ConsGoes through Co2. Trigger pull sucks. Rear sight is hard to adjust.
Great Beginner Gun
November 13, 2012
This gun is an amazing gun for anyone who is interested in any Co2 pellet rifle, and getting into shooting in general. It is very light and accurate when sighted in properly with a good scope. However, when it is cold outside you will only get about 2 good magazines out of one 12g Co2 cartridge. For a semi, it will do almost any job up to 50 yards tops. If you plan on shooting for a little bit then this gun is for you. If you plan to get more into the hobby then you might want to make one purchase of a more advanced gun to save some money in the long run. (The scope does not come with the gun in the picture).
ProsLight Ease of Use Inexpensive Extra Magazines Semi
ConsCo2 consumption Loading Clips
A great place to Start
October 29, 2012
I bought the gun for my 9 year old. My expectation was not an heirloom gun. I did not expect great quality or superior accuracy. I expected satisfactory value and ";best-gun-in-the-world" from a young boy who has not owned an airgun. I got what I expected. The gun is fun to shoot, inexpensive and Patrick loves the "semi-auto." A full tube of gas will get ~50 good shots, not more. A few more weak shots are good to go also. The piercing of the Co2 was hardest at first, but with more use, the piercing has reduced in difficulty. (Never yet very easy, just less difficult). Patrick shoots ground squirrels, sparrows and pigeons, and some plinking, usually from ~10-20 yards. Recommend adding an inexpensive scope.
ProsGood value. Reasonable accuracy up to 20 yards. Good hunting gun for small pests at close range. A 9 year old will love it.
ConsThe trigger is a slide (terrible feel in my opinion). The rear sight is fulling adjustable, but is terrible to adjust L-R. Piercing a new Co2 is not easy.

Crosman mod. 1077
August 23, 2012
Gun did not fire right out of the box. Some kind of plug in the gas system. Repeated efforts resulted in the gun finally clearing what ever was causing the obstruction and now is operating normally, although a three shot group is bigger than the grouping of the first gun I had. I like the concept but I think the quality of the mechanisms could be improved.
ProsSemi-auto & 12 shots
ConsGas seals seem to go bad and leak, 2nd one I have owned
Solid but wastes CO2
July 5, 2012
I love this gun. It is a decent 10/22 clone. Shoots alright groups but is more fun to just pop quick rounds off like mad. I get between 40 and 50 shots from a powerlet which is disappointing. In all my other CO2 shooters it's 80 shots or more. When you shoot it under the right conditions you can see the CO2 coming out everywhere.
ProsFun and fast to shoot
July 2, 2012
I am considering this gun for when my dad gets a firearms license (you need an FAC to get a pellet gun above 500 FPS in Canada). It looks and sounds like a great gun. Right now I have a crosman 1088 and a 490 fps crosman optimis, as well as a gun that is 30+ years old and 450 fps at best. I can hit a metal blade that is 1 foot wide at 60 feet with the 450 fps gun( which is pretty good because there is no scope and the sights suck.
Pros12 shot semi auto. 625 fps. Cheap.
ConsI don't have one
May 13, 2012
i love this gun you can put all 12 shots into a quarter size hole at like 20 yards if you take your time which is really good for semi auto i bought a $30 scope at walmart and it works great for all i do (shooting cans and small pests)
Prossemi auto accuracy look and feel

March 30, 2012
It is a lot of fun once you get use to it I had to put a whole co2 cartridge through it before I could get the gun to shoot full strength after that it was a lot of fun and very accurate but when you let it sit you have to shoot it a couple times to get it up to full strength
Pros12 shot mag. Accurate semi auto

great little plinker
March 24, 2012
Fun to shoot but runs out of power to soon. I scoped mine and it's pretty accurate. Test fired it through my f1 chrony and got a best of 601 fps, very close to it's touted 625fps max. You go through pellets very quickly with this rifle so have plenty on hand, I buy tins of 500 at my local walmart. The crossman premier hollow points work well and are my favorite. Wish crossman would make a .22 version with the 88g cylinder like Gamo does, I would buy it.
Prosprice and ease of operation
Consno .22 version
A must have if you like the Ruger 10-22
December 4, 2011
Looks and feels like a ruger 10-22 which is my favorite rim fire rifle, I have three of them! ...I can't safely shoot the Rugers in my basement but the Crosman 10-77 is safe to fire into a pellet trap in the basement so that saves me a trip to the shooting range.
ProsLight weight and powerful for a co2 gun. Semi automaic fire without excessively long trigger pull. Detatchable magazine and a fiber optic front sight.
ConsIt could use a better gas sealing system. Too much plastic. I would pay more for a gun like this if it was all metal and wood.
By Bill T.
Model 1077 is a good value for the dollar
November 27, 2011
In my opinion, for the money this rifle is a good value. The plastic stock really does not bother me one bit. The overall design is a fair copy of a Ruger 10/22, with the same basic feel, and by my recollection, very similar dimensions. The rotary magazine is a definite connection, so for those who already have a 10/22 this gun could round out the plinking family nicely. This should be an excellent youth gun as well, yet it is large enough for an adult. I bought it to help control my chipmunk population. They've been too quick for me so far, but I have no qualms about the power of this gun to to the job.
ProsI like the accuracy and feel of the gun when shooting. It was nearly dead-on at twenty yards right out of the box. The sights are different for me, but making the adjustment is no problem.
ConsLoading the magazine takes a few minutes, so don't be in a hurry. If you are, get a few more magazines. Also, I had a jam in the first load but have not had one since. This might be a pellet issue rather than a gun issue.
I like it!
November 24, 2011
Very light, quiet, the magazine loads easy and works well. Having 4 mags ready to load will keep you shooting. These low power pellet rifles are much safer than any gun that shoots steel BB's as the softer pellets don't ricochet nearly as much as the steel BB's. I'm still adjusting the rear sight. I'm consistently an inch or so left.... thats next. A Daisy tube sight would be nice too.
ProsLight weight, repeater, pellets, quiet
FUN SHOOTER FOR TARGETS
November 18, 2011
A great air rifle for targets or cans. My wife and I both take turns at target games. The rifle shoots great right out of box.
Great shooter out of the box
August 24, 2011
This is a great shooter straight out of the box with little sight adjustment. I've only tried it at 17 yrds (that's how small my yards is) and can pick out small 2 inch toy soldiers with no problem. Softer trigger than my air pistols and the recoil feels like my Ruger 10/22 rifle... actually even looks like it. I took of 1 star because I only got about 80 good shots before losing accuracy and I'd prefer another 2 lbs of added weight to it also. Otherwise fun to shoot.
Great for hunting, pest control or plinking
August 16, 2011
This gun is awesome. Its extremely accurate. Bottle caps at 10 yards, quater sized groups at 15 yards, and eggs at 20 yards. Its great for plinking and hard to put down. Its also great for pest control and hunting. I have killed starlings, cowbirds, and...... uh, well I guess thats it! I know the gun would be good for small game hunting from what I've seen. Now I know nobody will ever believe me, but I bet this gun could kill a coyote with one well placed shot in the soft spot behind the ear. All in all buy the gun. You wont regret it,and buy the way if I were all of you, I would use super-h-point pellets. There awesome!
July 11, 2011
this is a good gun for pests
June 6, 2011
if you want a .177 air gun get this. this is accurate and a fast shooter. it can be customized in many ways also. the only problems i have with it are CO2 leakage and internal plastic parts.
May 8, 2011
Very accurate, great for squirls to about 25-30 yards. I use crosman premier hollow points. The only thing i wish crosman would change is the plastic trigger, trigger guard, and reciever. They work fine but they seem like it could break easy. But a great co2 rifle to have!
Great fun, or for teaching the kids!!
April 30, 2011
This little rifle is just the ticket for plinking or teaching the kids gun safety and how to shoot. It looks and feels just like a cartridge-firing semi auto .22, but is a bit lighter, quieter, and of course less powerful. At less than 50 bucks for a refurb, you can't go wrong. In fact, for the regular price, you can't go wrong. My only "complaint" is that the CO2 cartridges last as long as expected.....about 30 - 40 shots. This really is quite a few shots from one cartridge, and normally isn't a problem with a single shot, but the 1077 unloads its clips 12 shots at a time so fast that it seems like I am constantly changing cartridges. While I really like the small cartridges for most applications, I may be upgrading to an air source adapter for this rifle.
February 24, 2011
For this price, I purchased one just to find out if it as as addictive to shoot an air rifle with semi-automatic feature. Yes, it is fun and as addictive to other rifles I shoot. When I purchase this rifle, I knew that this rifle is all plastic made. So I did not expect much from this rifle. Nevertheless, this rifle is very well built and very light. Shoots accurately too. The only that this rifle needs is a scope, that way you can get to adjust the windtage. Fun for target practice, but I do not recommend this for hunting because this rifle may not make a quick kill, and small games animals can suffer needlessly.

Would recommend this rifle to anyone as a practice/plinking rifle or a small pest hunting. AirgunDepot has a great costumer service, fast shipping and item come as described, in great qualitty. Would recommend AirgunDepot to anyone looking for some kind of prouct offered in this page, because of camparision with other webpages, the prices here are rhe lowest best quality.
